The news page, for shout-outs, referrals, rants, invective, random nonsense, reviews of other books, junk, musings, mumblings, hexes, haiku, postings of LOL cats, no scratch that, they aren’t funny, never were and never will be, what was I supposed to be writing about here? Oh yes, the news page… where presumably there will be news about the Press and Black Rainbows… incidentally, the Press got its name from a peculiar weather phenomenom where sometimes a second, fainter rainbow appears above another; in German folklore this is an attempt by the Devil to trump God. That’s fine by us, because as Nietzche pointed out, the Devil was the first friend of knowledge, and according to Genesis a rainbow is God’s way of apologising to us after trying to kill us all with the Flood. It is His promise that he will never try to drown us all again.
Next time, He intends to use fire.
